Words often confused-01:

1. Fare: (পাবলিক যানবাহ ভাড়া) - Train fare increases of five percent are envisaged for the next year.
2. Rent: (নির্দিষ্ট সময়ের জন্য বাসা, বাড়ি, জমি, গাড়ি ইত্যাদির ভাড়া) - I cannot even afford to pay the rent on this flat.
3. Hire: (দক্ষ কর্মী নিয়োগ, সরঞ্জামাদি, ডেকোরেশন ইত্যাদির স্বল্প সময়ের জন্য ভাড়া) - BPL hired some foreign cricket players to play in Bangladesh.
4. Journey: (নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে ভ্রমণ বুঝাতে) - We made our journey Dhaka to Chittagong by bike.
5. Trip: (নির্দিষ্ট স্থানে যাওয়া ও আসা বুঝাতে) - He is on a business trip in Chittagong.
6. Tour: (বিভিন্ন স্থানে ভ্রমণ করা বুঝাতে) - We went on a tour of Singapore.
7. Travel: (লম্বা দূরত্বের কোন স্থানে ভ্রমণ বা সফর করা বুঝাতে) - I like to travel by airplane.
8. Excursion: (দলবেঁধে কিছু সংখ্যক লোকের সংক্ষিপ্ত আনন্দ ভ্রমণ) - We went to sea beach on a college excursion.
9. Borrow: (ধার করা) - I want to borrow some money from you.
10. Lend: (ধার দেয়া) - All right, I'll lend you the money.
11. Loan : (সুদে ধার দেয়া বা ঋণ) - How much interest are you paying on the loan?
12. Discover: (আবিষ্কার বা অস্তিত্ববান কিছু খুঁজে পাওয়া) - America was discovered by Columbus.
13. Invent: (উদ্ভাবন করা বা অস্তিত্বহীন কিছু তৈরি করা) - Charle’s Babbage invented the computer.
14. Drown: (ডুবে মরা /মারা) - The Boy was drowned in the river.
15. Sink: (নিমজ্জিত হওয়া) - The boat sank in the sea.
16. Hot: (কষ্টদায়ক গরম) - Here it is very hot in the summer.
17. Warm: (উষ্ণ /আরামদায়ক গরম) - Today weather is warm.
18. Wind: (গতিময় বাতাস) - The strong wind blew his hat away.
19. Air: (বাতাস /বায়ু) - I went outside to get some fresh air.
